“God’s laws are pure, eternal, just. They are more desirable than gold. They are sweeter than honey dripping from a honeycomb.” (Psalms 19: 9- 10 TLB).
READ: 2 Timothy 2:15, 1 Peter 2:2, Joshua 1:8
Reading, studying, and memorizing the Word of God is the only way we can taste and enjoy fully of it and we must do it daily. If we only ate physically, once or twice a month we would starve. We wouldn’t have anything to sustain us. The same is true with the Word of God. We must constantly go back for more. Let us go to the table of the Lord, open the Book, and feast. “As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:” (1 Peter 2:2).
Memorize – “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.” (Psalm 119:11).
Meditate –“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” (Joshua 1:8).
Study – “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15).
The word of God needs to become our reality and our speaking. Then speaking out not our own words but His Word dwelling in us! We are being daily perfected in speaking for God and in all we do.
Thank You Father that Your word provides all the nutrients that we need for a healthy soul
“Gather the riches of God’s promises. Nobody can take away from you those texts from the Bible, which you have learned by heart.” – Corrie Ten Boom
