July 19 – WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY?

“And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” (Matthew 25:46 NKJV).

READ:  Matthew 25:31-42

A day can feel like an hour or it can feel like a month depending on what you are going through. But a day is still a day; it’s never more than 24 hours. A week is never more than 7 days, a month is never more than 31 days, and a year is never more than 366 days. Time is measured and limited to certain numbers, but eternity is a different matter altogether. Eternity is never measured. Eternity is endless. It is more than a million years. It is more than a billion years. It cannot be counted in trillions.

Eternity is God’s age; He is from eternity to eternity. He will never die and so eternity will never end. It is forever and ever and ever and ever. As long as God will sit on His throne, human beings will be fully conscious and aware of their environment partaking of the pain or pleasure of it.

The big question is a simple one: WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY.

Prayer:

Lord Jesus never let me wander away from You. Never let me be distracted or deceived by the temporary, fleeting things of this brief life. Teach me how to live for eternity.
