MARCH 11 – SALVATION FOR ALL

“Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”’ (John 14:6 NLT).

READ: Isaiah 55:1-7

Food costs money. It lasts only a short time, and meets only physical needs. But God offers us free nourishment that feeds our soul. How do we get it? We are to come! Many people who go to church and those who do good deeds without receiving Jesus Christ into their lives are usually the most difficult set of people to reach with the gospel of salvation. This is so because they find it unimaginable to believe that they are sinners (Eph.4:18; 1 Cor.2:14). Salvation is for all. No one is exempted; your good deeds notwithstanding.

Beloved, eternal life cannot be earned by good works. It is a free gift that can be received only through Jesus Christ who came to redeem us by His sinless blood,  shed on the cross of Calvary (John 14:6). Think about this, would you like to be rejected by God despite your good works and church attendance?

Do not shut your heart to the Word of God (Rev.3:20). God is not going to plead with you forever, if you continue to reject the saving grace of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Salvation plus good deeds make you a better candidate for God’s kingdom.

 Prayer:

Jesus Christ, I accept You as my personal Lord and Saviour. Come into my heart and take me over by Your Holy Spirit. I declare that I shall live for You all the days of my life in Jesus’ name.
