“And you must always obey the Lord’s commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good.” (Deuteronomy 10:13 NLT).
READ: Phil.2: 13-15
Obedience is “gladly doing what pleases the one in authority over you”. We are reminded that we must be careful about how we believe and live, especially when we are on our own. In the absence of Christian leaders like Bishops, Pastors, Deacons etc, we must focus our attention and devotion more on Christ who helps us to obey Him and gives us the power to do so through the indwelling Holy Spirit. The secret to a changed life is to submit to Christ’s control and let Him work. Our lives should be characterized by moral purity, patience and peacefulness, so that we will shine as lights in a crocked and perverse world. Beloved, a transformed life is an effective witness to the power of God’s word. Is your light shining brightly or is it clouded by complaints and arguments? Be a clean, radiant light shinning out for Christ.
Lord I submit to Your Lordship and Your leadings in Jesus’ name.
