“The Lord is my light and my salvation— so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble?”
(Psalm 27:1-2 NLT).
READ: Daniel 3:12-18
This is a story of three Hebrew men who refused to bow and worship any other god apart from the living God. Are you ready to take a stand for God at whatever cost? When you stand for God, you will stand out. These men stood their ground not to serve any other god and God stood for them also. Beloved, it can be painful and it may not always have a happy ending but be prepared to say, “I will serve God only.” Ps.27:1-2. Fear is a dark shadow, which is one of the devil’s weapons to deal with Christians. We have been prisoners of fear at one time or the other. It could be fear of rejection, misunderstanding, uncertainty, sickness or even death. We need not fear because greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world. Jesus has already given us the victory.
Lord, give me the strength to stand for You in the face of opposition and oppression in Jesus’ name.
